"Rock Legends"

By Request:

"Nobody Knows You When You Are Down and Out"
Eric Clapton

Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE (born 30 March 1945) is an English blues-rock guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer. Clapton is the only person who has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times; as a solo performer, as well as a member of rock bands the Yardbirds and Cream. Throughout his career, Clapton has been viewed by critics and fans alike as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time, Clapton was ranked fourth in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and #53 on their list of the "Immortals: 100 Greatest Artists of All Time". In 2010, Clapton was ranked #4 on Gibson's Top 50 Guitarists of All Time.

Although Clapton has varied his musical style throughout his career, it has always remained grounded in the blues; despite this focus, he is credited as an innovator in a wide variety of genres. These include blues-rock (with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers and The Yardbirds) and psychedelic rock (with Cream). Clapton's chart success was not limited to the blues, with chart-toppers in Adult contemporary ("Tears in Heaven") and reggae (Bob Marley's "I Shot the Sheriff"; he is often credited for bringing reggae and Bob Marley to the mainstream). Two of his most successful recordings were the hit love song "Layla", which he played with the band Derek and the Dominos, and Robert Johnson's "Crossroads", which has been his staple song since his days with Cream.

I am new to your forum.  I have been on many other such sites and thought i would test the waters here.

I am wondering if anyone can help with a activation workaround.  I do have a legitmate copy of the program but have 2 computers and do not wish to purchase another copy of xp.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to how i can use my original key or how to disable the annoying activiation window.  Any advise would be helpfull

Thanks in advance.

at one point before i bought a legit copy of xp i tried using crystal 2007 version, but i could never get it to load correctly.  Perhaps i did something wrong with the .iso but who knows.  I am currently DL  Windows Crystal XP V3 and my hope is that it will work with out a hitch.  I have been fooling with the other XP trying to find a work around to no avail.  I do appreciate your quick reply to my message and for the appropriate advise. XP Essentials is very good version, just install it and of you go, as well as it being updatable(if i remember correctly) its tweaked for gaming so performance is pretty much the best you will get for xp system.

I never trusted Essential XP, I tried it once, and found it to be just a big advertising ploy for the store that put it together. The IE home page
was set to the store's site, and it would not let me change it. Also
I found a ton of very questionable files incorporated in it, some outright
spyware too. It never seemed to work well either. Demon is right, get
a Black, or any other By Amit Talkin, they are basically trouble free, and
fast also. The new Black versions have a pretty good post installer menu.
Otherwise there is always the XP patch kits which are good sometimes
but sometimes not. I have a prety good one, but right now even though
it is a very small file, I'm not sure if I could upload it. I'll check it out though.
The problem with allot of modified XPs is that they will be missing many
files in the Windows directory, so you end up having to use the install
CD allot when you install various software, because the Drivers or dlls
are not there and need to imported from the CD. It usually needs to be
a real Microsoft version because if the files were on the modified CD,
they would be in the Windows directory. Some are better and some are
worse as far as what has been taken out. The version I've used the
most has been Amit's "XP corporate sp3", it has most of the Windows
files intact, and never needs activating, only the Genuine Advantage
Patch. I hope this was Helpfull.

The fix is a volume licence key, and cr*cked Genuine Advantage Validation (WGA) v1.9.42.0 (LegitCheckControl.dll).
Both of which the rules disallow posting here.
Use Google. Search ''Genuine Advantage Validation FreeRyde'' will find them for you.
